A country pub dating from 1640 that has been revived of late. The charity auctions & quiz nights are pure comedy (in a good way) & great fun.

I can’t comment on the food, service and atmosphere because I haven't been there since 1969 or 70, but I've given 5 stars based on my idyllic childhood holidays there when my Grandparents owned the pub. There were 32 acres attached to it and we farmed pigs and chickens. It was a joy to live there, fond memories ❤️!
