Wonderful and friendly pub. I drop in most weeks for a pint and sometimes to read in the quiet back bar. Great selection, but the HPA is tough to beat. Luke and the staff are brilliant, a gem in the neighbourhood. Food on Fridays is a welcome addition too !

What a lovely pub! My friend hired the skittles alley for a group of us and our children and they all had such a fun time. Always lovely staff and atmosphere.
And now food to top it all up! The veggie (The Plank) burger is by far the best one I've had, confirmed also by my omnivorous husband. I can't wait for my Friday fix now!
We're a family friendly pub that offers community teams including skittles, darts, pool and quiz. We have a variety of drinks to accommodate all ages and a range of real ales that alternate from week to week. Our social media is updated accordingly to share what's on including fun-days, singers, bands, bingo and much more. Dogs are welcome in the pub as long as they're kept on a lead and are friendly with other dogs and people.
