“We came here recently for a meal to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and the service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, with attention paid to the smallest detail and so friendly. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and is probably the best meal I have ever had.I've run out of superlatives but my mum had a brilliant time and I couldn't recommend The Cotford highly enough. We will be back.”

“I've been visiting a New Inn a little while now and have enjoyed the friendly staff, the good beer and lately I have tried the food...Fantastic, I can't say anything bad about the place especially as there is live music every weekend and a great beer garden for the summer months!Would highly recommend!”

“Small but nice little pub. We were a bit late for food so had a drink service was good although it was not busy. The pub had mugs from all era hanging on the ceilings which made for interesting talking point. Overall cosy place.”

“My wife and I stayed in the hotel recently so that we could enjoy a matinee performance at Malvern Theatre and then relax afterwards without having to drive home. The room was ok, but most impressive was our evening meal and the breakfast the following morning. Not only was the food really good, but the front of house staff were exemplary. So attentive, polite and professional, it really was such a pleasure to see. They are an asset to the hotel and set the standard in how all hospitality staff should be. Thank you for such a great stay, we will definitely return when we book our next show.”

“We stayed here for two nights prior to attending a wedding. The room (206) was very comfortable with a big bathroom and a view of the hills; the extra fan which we were given was very welcome given that we were there on the hottest day of 2023! The staff were friendly and efficient; the restaurant (air-conditioned) was spacious with a good variety of menus; I recommend the gammon and chips if you're really hungry - it was an enormous portion. Plenty of parking and proximity to Malvern and Worcester made our stay very interesting. On arrival we were told that the wifi was not always reliable and to come down to reception if we had trouble connecting; it was very flaky and often we couldn't connect. On leaving I mentioned this and asked where the main router was situated. "Downstairs" I was told. I'll Ieave the techies among you to work out where the problem might be! But we did enjoy our stay and I must say that we would book again if ever in the area as it was ...(see review title).”

“On the 3rd of October 2023 my wife had booked lunch for us at The Cottage in the Wood and I was blown away. The view was nothing but stunning! The staff were friendly and the manager seemed very knowledgeable about what wine should go with our five course tasting menu. All the menu items (not just the five course) seemed very nice but as it was my birthday we went with the five course tasting. Each and every dish was great! The food was top of the line and we both couldn’t have asked for better tasting food. For the price of £55 each we thought it was great value after tasting the food.We can’t comment on staying at the hotel but they are the only hotel approved my employer Cisco so it must be good. For dining we really recommend going to The Cottage in the Wood when visiting Malvern!Food & drinks: Amazing food and drink”

“Came here for lunch, food was ok I ordered a mixed grill and pepsi and I had to ask for the drink as it never turned up. The food was overdone as well. I then ordered a warm chocolate fudge cake and it was cold. It's not a bad pub I think someone was having a bad day. If I'm in the area I will go back and try again.”
