I have recently found this shop, as my previous alterations lady sadly passed away. I have had about twelve clothing items taken up and Dawn has done a terrific job every time. Friendly and professional, I'm delighted I have found this quaint shop. Thank you very much!

Notions is a specialist needlecraft store stocking haberdashery /knitting and sewing supplies. If we do not have your required item in stock we can usually order in for you.
We have a full range of DMC embroidery silks and light effect threads - Gutermann sewing threads - Dylon clothes dyes - YKK zips - huge range of buttons and many different ribbons.
We offer selections of yarns from Sirdar,Stylecraft and King Cole as well as a good range of patterns , needles and crochet hooks.
In addition we have basic stocks of quilting supplies and needle felting.
We offer an in house clothing alteration/repair service and make quality hand finished curtains /roman blinds/and cushions using fabric from our selection or your own.
