The Canal Visitor Centre has a bookshop with a stock of modestly priced books. Most are second-hand, and they cover a wide range of topics. There is also a number of old vinyl records and old maps. We went on a pirate trip on the dragonfly and then did the pirate hunt afterwards.
The dragonfly trip was amazing - she looked fab with pirate flags flying. The crew were dressed up and there was a real parrot there too. The crew brought extra ‘pirate items’ and allowed the children to look through the captains box... read full comment
