Lovely room for performances, but since they changed the entrance the reception areas and bars are very much diminished; much poorer than when they used a bar in the Grand. Disappointing.

From Howard Assembly Room
A beautifully restored venue in the heart of Leeds bringing the most exciting musicians, performers, writers and film to the north of England. Programmed by Opera North.
The Howard Assembly Room will re-open in October 2021 with an eclectic programme of world music, jazz, folk, classical recitals, films, talks and installations, plus our own bar and restaurant and a dedicated entrance.
Tickets for our first season back are on sale now, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
