Burnt fish and chips. Very badly presented. Steak very fatty and raw, also very badly presented. Such a pity this used to be a fantastic venue, and I have had some very enjoyable meals here. We will not be going back

I went to the butchers arms free night of hepworth feast, I know that they were busy they had menus on the tables offering chips and snacks, I ordered there homemade pork scratching with apples sauce only to be told they had run out and gave me 3 packs instead and charged me £6 for it!! Excellent Stilton and Steak Pie, reasonably priced, too.
A charming village pub set in the heart of Hepworth
The traditional bar with stone floors and an open fire is a haven for walkers and dog owners who enjoy the many routes around this beautiful corner of the Holme Valley. The pub has been an essential part of the village for around 70 years and remains a social hub for locals and tourists alike.
