Had afternoon tea today and it was amazing! The food was great, the cakes were beautiful! I Definitely would recommend going here! And the price for what you get was brilliant. To top it off the staff are all lovely and made you feel welcome!

Absolutely incredible experience here this afternoon! I had my baby shower afternoon tea here and nothing was a problem! Kathryn catered to so many different dietary needs including mine of vegan and diabetic (no/low sugar). All of the food was delicious, beautifully presented and well thought out. My friend and I had a lovely Afternoon Tea . The sandwiches and cakes were amazing and there was plenty to eat.Lovely friendly people who served us.

Established in 2014, The Mug Tree is a multi award-winning community driven independent Tea Room in the heart of East Grinstead. Proudly serving homemade cakes, cream teas and traditional afternoon tea, lunches, brunch and more. Private hire available for children's birthday parties, baby showers, hen parties and other occasions. Afternoon teas, brownies, party food and more available to order to take away and local delivery.
We're heavily involved in our local community, raising money for local charities, supporting groups such as the elderly, young adults with mental health issues, autistic and neurodiverse, new mums and families, and more. Help support our community work whilst also supporting an independent small business!
