I've also been caught out with a £100 parking fine at this Waitrose location. I stopped after dropping my husband at Haywards Heath hospital so the area is new territory for me. Received a parking fine (£100) after visiting Waitrose. I know there are signs everywhere but I was just having one of those days where my mind was in two places. Rang Waitrose and they kept telling me that it isn't their parking, it's parking for the shopping centre and it's too bad.
