Great place to save not sure why so many negative feedbacks, they are not a clearing bank so deposits and withdrawals are slow but apart from that I have had many years of hassle free saving, good and safe place to save with and usually good rates save with these guys with confidence!!!

The interest rates are decent but be aware the interest returned to your nominated account is always very slow to arrive . Many other banks it arrives on maturity date . Charter like to hold onto it for days

Took out a three year bond which was due to mature on 30th September this year. Unfortunately, when I took out this bond, interest rates were at rock bottom, and Charter Savings were offering 1.35%. I eagerly awaited my £85000 plus interest to land in my current account today. I was moving it into an account offering...
