While some of their rare collectible books are overpriced, Oxfam Books & Music in Harborne is the best charity shop I have used for secondhand books. I have found some fabulous well-priced books in there.The staff are lovely. Always polite, friendly and helpful.

Good selection of quality donated books, but at ridiculous prices. Minimum price for non-tatty nonfiction books was £10. And that’s the price for ordinary, every day history or art books, whether hardback or paperback. There were a few lovely, great condition art hardcover books for £50 to £70!!
