Overall the ambience was good and the food was with quality. The variety of offerings are very wide and was extended to Asian and Mexican. They were surprisingly good too. Portion was appropriate. The only thing is the sofa was a bit too soft and we had to swop, otherwise, rest of settings are comfy and spacious.
Are you being served? Bacco Lounge was originally built as a nineteenth century department store; which could explain our cosy lounge-like rooms off the light and airy main bar. Or not. Either way, we’ve a pretty little courtyard out the back and an upstairs air conditioned dining area replete with fabulous original floor-to-ceiling windows: one of the earliest examples of shopfront glazing in the country, fact fans. John Lewis eat your heart out.
