Lovely location, we came over the New Year staying in the cottage next door. A community owned pub in a small village. The couple running the place were very friendly and accommodating, good selection of beers and good pub food at reasonable prices. A bit out of the way but worth a detour.

The Shoemakers Arms is a lovely traditional village pub. We came to stay locally for a week and ate 3 times in the Shoemakers Arms. The food was straight forward and most importantly, very tasty. Everyone we spoke to was extremely welcoming. Not a large menu but enough variety to cover most preferences.

Staying nearby, so popped in on a Friday night for something to eat. Wife and I both had the burgers, on recommendation from some locals. Absolutely fantastic!
