Dropped in by chance and so glad we did. Lovely family running the place, kept the kitchen open for us, great food and they have a campsite. So welcoming - a completely perfect pub. Just wish we lived closer!

What a wonderful, cosy pub. The meal was superb and they were very dog friendly.
A warm welcome awaits you at The Halfway, Tal-y-Coed nestled in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside between the historic towns of Monmouth & Abergavenny (just 10 minutes either side).
Serving traditional pub meals using local suppliers we welcome walkers, caravanner's, dogs & families. In the winter months we have a open fire to enjoy & a beautiful beer garden for those sunny evenings.
