And as for the chap who had to wait in the rain, hellooooo, there's a Pandemic on you muppet, only a certain number of people allowed in branch at any one time. You could've gone to B&M to buy a few Haribo to suck on whilst you were waiting, the sour ones would've been perfect for you. You do leave a lot of negative reviews don't you . . . . . “Friendly, caring and attentive staff. A pleasure to visit this branch, everyone from the branch manager through to the customer advisers are friendly and smiling. The branch never really has a long wait time and coupled with the self-service machines, it is very easy to do business with Nationwide Building Society in Newport, Isle of Wight. The gentleman allowed me to wait in the back room until is was safe to come back out. He watched me walk down the high street to ensure I was safe. I would like to say thank you so much to this man. He is an asset to the bank.”

“Staff are extremely welcoming and have a particularly well organised system in relation to COVID 19 hygiene within the bank. I was attended to quickly by a member of staff named Kim, who illustrated exceptional customer service. As someone who isn't particularly confident in using online banking, this member of staff patiently talked me through the Santander app and helped me attend to my other needs. The ATM machines are modern, easy to use and all staff were pleasant. Great branch!”

“I've just been into natwest newport I. O. W this morning for help to unblock my card and help to set up a bank app on my phone. Robert Clarke was very helpful and even though social distancing had to be followed he managed to help me set up my app and open an ISA. Thank you. Couldn't have done it without him”
“Had to visit the passport office to replace damaged passport. Great to discover parking here at ASDA. Arrived early so had tea cake and coffee in ASDA cafe. The best teacakes ever, full of fruit and a bean to cup coffee machine was another second suprise!”
“Snacks are good, some are expensive and others are "ok" priced, but its good to buy things that you can't find in other stores nearby. Reading the other reviews apparently it's not so good for car products, but I'm a student so... :-)”

“Having had to pop there late at night on Tuesday 5th January, I came across a dodgy bloke by the bus stop who continued to follow me round to the garage ,being a bit unnerved I explained to the young female worker my predicament, as he was still hanging around she accompanied me outside until police arrived . Can't thank her enough. Just wish I had got her name ❤️”
“Having to stand in the same queue as people who need to see a bank financial person, it means for people who just want to deposit cash, the cash macines stand empty whilst people are having to queue for over an hour outside to use a cash machine”
