We arrived just before it started getting busy, around 3pm on a Fri. Nice and cosy inside, doggy friendly. Nice selection of drinks and I could have had 1 of everything off the menu. We both had lasagne and the portion size with a shared side of chips was just enough. I would recommend this location and great seating outside...

We are a 17th century coaching inn serving fabulous home cooked food and an amazing selection of wines and beers.
We have a lovely riverside beer garden with covered pods if there’s a shower!
We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty opposite the country park making us the perfect stop off point for a light snack, delicious meal or just for refreshments
