Had breakfast there and it's good quality and quantity, with good value for money. ( very tasty) They now do Indian food from 4pm till 8pm so went for diner, it was lovely good amounts and very nice quality, excellent change from pub grub when camping.

As a biker (motor not pedal) I am on a mission to find the best cooked breakfast in South Wales. I went up to this cafe on 19/10/24 to see what theirs was like. The cafe isn't very big, but was OK. Lovely little family run store and cafe, we were made very welcome on our first visit and as both pubs were shut we were welcomed back for a couple of drinks. Food we had was really good too, we returned for Indian food on our trip back and it was delicious. Well worth a stop if you are passing through

Talybont Stores, Canalside Cafe, Indian takeaway and Eat in and Post Office is a local shop/Cafe and Post office selling a good variety of stock. Local goods, crafts and Welsh items. Large range of wines, beers, ciders and local beers and ciders. Convenience and grocery, including frozen Indian curries(veg & non veg) located in the lovely village of Talybont-on-Usk right below the canal. Ideal starting point for all people to walk or cycle with many routes starting from the village.
The Post Office is open Monday to Saturday 9.00am until 1.30pm.
CAFE is open 9am to 8 pm, cooking until 3.30pm. Takeaway also available
