Like a Weatherspoon’s, burgers were just gristle and mostly inedible. Disappointing place, but we were too tired to look for something else, and it was either this or a bag of fish and chips. Probably should have got a microwave meal from Tesco.

We called in for a quick drink to see how the place was, now that it's under new management. The staff were very welcoming & helpful and the prices were fantastic. The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee.
