I've been going here for years until now.....it used to be a highlight of my visit to the WMC being a theatre bar. Loved hearing theatre tunes and it being very unique to my theatre visit.....it has new staff , no musical songs, sky news on the Tele. The whole vibe doesn't feel the same as it used to. Cakes we purchased were really fresh and tasted lovely, carrot ? cake was delicious and welsh cake spicy ?. Tea was nice, but one criticism was that the coffee ☕️ could have been warmer.

I ordered a double espresso with hot milk on the side. The coffee was presented in a small paper cup. When I asked for a china cup the assistant said that "they were going to be busy" and begrudgingly got a very cold cup and poured the coffee in. The only independent cafe-bar in the Wales Millennium Centre with a terrace offering views over the oval basin to the water and beyond, and on those sunny days providing hours of exposure for sun-lovers.
Also have facilities for private functions.
Relaxed and informal.
