“We've been to Zi's cafe for a number of years now, and it always delivers. Most recently they've started Cantonese Dim Sum, tasting exactly like the high-end traditional restaurants in Hong Kong! The restaurant owner said they've recruited a senior chef from Hong Kong - no wonder!”

“This is my go-to local supermarket when I need wider stock than Aldi and Lidl have. They have a clothes and home section in addition to food. Trolleys don't need a pound which is great as I rarely have cash on me so makes it easier than other stores that still require you to have a quid.I mostly come here for petrol as they have some of the more competitive petrol prices locally. I rarely have to wait in line for there to be a pump free.”

“staff inside are great, but a long wait sometimes if one member serving or problems arise, they need a simple enquiry desk. Annoyed about the saturday closure, the community here are pensioners , again we are being pushed into the online access where you cant simply speak to a person in seconds withut going through endless questions and options. The time where banks literally disappear will be a problem indeed. Last year my card was locked for security reasons , I had to go to my local branch to show ID etc, grateful that my branch is down the road and not in the city centre, here we have the failure of the online services they can only do so much as it all over the phone or online, still had to visit the bank in the end.”

“Clean and tidy, with a good range of products, including newspapers, magazines, cards, as well as food tins/pasta/cakes/sweets, and alcohol, and has a post office there too. Also long opening hours and open from 6am - 9pm mon to say, and 7am - 9pm on Sunday.”

“Great face to face service, after talking for an hour with the phone support, they locked my account and only way to unlock it was the personal visit to the closest HSBC bank building and to show them that me is really me - show them my photo ID - I am think that they are even little bit too careful with the access control, even the big American based banks do not require that level of the security. Perhaps it would be great for the people who are bit paranoid about the security issues - me and others who not having this problem could find it quite annoying, but the stuff in the branches is very professional and nice. It's took us no more than 7 minutes to restore the access to my internet banking.Perhaps they having not seen me for years so they decided to not accept my answers to all the security questions even if they all have been right - I mean that even if you have no any wrong answers you might no pass the security over the phone (anyway, considering how far mobile technology has been already developed - providing of voice connection which is just laughably low quality - seems like the most of the mobile service providers are very greedy!)”

“This is my bank! But not in the same way that Terry's Chocolate Orange's belong to Dawn French! I share it with everyone else! Which is essentially what the Co-op is about! Way, way back in my dim and distant past I had my Uni placement with these guys in Manchester, which funnily enough, is where their Head Office is! I learned all about their membership scheme and the leading edge developments that they were responsible for where environmental and Fair Trade issues were concerned. These things are not surprising seeing as the basic premise for this business was to provide affordable products and services for the less well off in society, and to allow them to share in the profits! The Co-op are amazing. I have banked with them for years! Their bank rates are more more equitable than other banks, and they are lenient when we fall foul of our commitment to them, (making a late payment, or accidentally going overdrawn etc... A quick phone call to explain is usually enough to remedy an error!). Five stars is just not enough for these guys... so here's a few more...”
