Do not think because you have signed a contract in a Newcastle building society's office it means anything to them, twice it has happened to me and they refuse to take responsibility, any investments go to Zurich,a honest establishment

Inadequate Staff Training: Popped into the new South Shields branch to check. Receptionist: No appt required, but both you and your wife will be needed to open a joint account. Later, on a rare day's leave, when my wife (self-employed) had a spare slot. Cashier: you need an appt to open an account, and none are available...
