Why is it whenever you go to this store, there's a minimum of 4 staff on the shop floor, but they're always hiding from self service?

Convenient opening hours, OK for the essentials but terrible selection for vegans. Not one vegan ready meal option available last time I checked which you’d expect from a big chain convenience store.
