This place doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Small and humble place but it's honestly brilliant. Friendly staff and a very wide variety of drinks.

One of the mainstays of Gateshead's Railway Quarter bar scene, Station East is a welcome reopening of the old Railway Hotel Inn. Making full use of its historic building, there's a great choice of beers, snacks, and a wide range of events. Highly recommended.
