We had Sunday lunch and the food was excellent but the stand out was the young waiter who served us, he was excellent, really friendly with a huge smile. A real asset to the business, well done.

The pub itself is welcoming and a lively fire greeted us but what a let down the staff are. Uninterested, rarely a smile, slow and clearly not trained or monitored in terms of their customer service. Food was average but I would never return as service was so poor.

Was here with my partner for my birthday meal 12/12. Staff very helpful young lad he served us had been there 4 years was very helpful . The meal although nice we had calf’s liver and lamb was not value for money , positions very small and extras veg etc very expensive.
