I previously gave a rating of 2 stars, this was based on a brief visit, I have since been back and can say that the Guiness is as good as I've ever had, its a good down to earth pub.

Lovely warm welcome, beautiful comfortable stable onsuite bedroom . Serves breakfast.Food & drinks: Food only served on Sundays but takeaways in high street and allowed to bring back to pub and eat.

Really friendly check in staff. Clean and comfortable room with ensuite shower room.Good value for money.Sadly it appears that the current proprietor will be retiring as they are closing on the 23rd February.

Welcome to the Wheatsheaf! We are your friendly local village pub! We serve food from 3-7pm Mon-Fri and 12-7pm Sat 12-4 Sun. we provide B&B accommodation and of course a fully stocked bar. We show both Sky and BT sports. Phone to book your table, we hope to see you soon!
