Excellent friendly staff, offering a true personal service. It was the first time I have visited them, my optometrist was Matt, lovely guy who is very knowledgeable and explained everything methodically. A really great experience and would definitely recommend.

We visited here for the first time yesterday for my teenage daughters eye test. Matt was our optometrist and he was fantastic. Really professional, and for us a chair side manner is so important and Matt is superb and so friendly. We also received a very warm welcome by the receptionist. We don’t live locally to this...

Independent optician Patrick & Menzies takes pride in looking after the eye health of people in Manningtree and the surrounding area.
The Manningtree branch is the latest addition to the Patrick & Menzies family, opening to the public in September 2021.
Other branches are already well established in Braintree, Brightlingsea and Mersea.
For more than 30 years the company has been going the extra mile to take care of patient’s eye health in north Essex, providing eye examinations alongside an exciting array of glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses.
Patrick & Menzies took over the former Manningtree optician Piper and Priem when the previous owner decided to retire.
