Good points: 1) It is a new, albeit characterless, hotel with decent rooms with all the features you would expect of a modern hotel room. 2) Breakfast was good for a buffet with plenty of choice 3) Car parking was easy/ plentiful 4) Kitchen showed it could produce good food promptly in an evening once it got an order. The hotel itself is fine, but avoid the restaurant at all costs! It started badly when I ordered a pint of bitter shandy…the bar tender looked at me like she didn’t know what bitter was! No complaints with the hotel itself, all very clean and modern. However, my visit was let down by the staff. They were not very accommodating and this was topped off by being lied to, resulting in having to get ready for a wedding in the hotel toilets. Such a shame as it would have been a good review otherwise.
