Manager was very rude to me & my children when visiting my sister who was already sat at table 25. Didn’t stop for long. Didn’t even buy anything as the service was slow.
Wouldn’t recommend. Younger staff members were helpful. But felt very unwelcome.

The most awful Sunday roast , wrong information re food choices given by member of staff. Very poor gluten free choices. I would never go there again and price was high for the very poor quality of food.

A Restaurant and Chocolate Shop with a history built in 1510. Lichfield House is a grade 2* listed building and a very successful restaurant run by the same family since 1936.
New for 2023! We now have a number of small function rooms available to hire. Our 1st floor rooms overlook the picturesque Tudor Row. Room hire can include use of our private bar and secret garden terrace. Perfect for baby showers, small wedding parties, birthdays, meetings and celebrations of life.
We are also home to Lichfields only dedicated chocolate shop, selling a wide range of luxury individual chocolates from our chocolate counter along with a variety of luxury boxed chocolate, chocolate figures, lollies, tinned biscuits and jams
