A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. There was plenty of food served but it was so delicious we didn't leave a morsel! The staff were very pleasant. Recommended.Food & drinks: Afternoon tea - recommended!

We loved our stay and we're well looked after. Dining was superb, really comfortable rooms and the excellent quirky decor.

I was unable to get to the hotel the day of my booking, a Friday, because all trains were cancelled due to bad weather. I asked the hotel if I could move the booking to the Sunday night as they had availability but they were totally inflexible and said it was against their policy.
