A very disappointing Christmas Day drink. There were very few seats available, as they had closed the small room and upstairs area which was disappointing as had my elderly parents with me and 4 of us had to stand around a small table. Average Wetherspoons in centre of Cannock. Old building to front, with newer bit behind.
Enter to find large stair; bar beyond stair. No people attempting to form queue at bar. A plus. None of that.
The beer was Poretti. Decent. A couple of gaming machines. Thai Princess was not kind.
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi.
