I've just spent a couple of days, at brewers fayre, cannock, the room was good value, although a little grubby. But the food was poor. Usualy no complaints about the food but the haddock I had on this visit was decididly smaller than usual as was the portion of chips. My wife ordered 7oz gammon but comparing the size against someone with an 8oz sirloin, on an adjacent table, it was obviously much smaller. I think she had been given a 4oz by mistake.
