“I was extremely impressed by a lovely gentleman called Steve at asda yeovil I am disabled and a wheelchair user some silly people had left chicken bones and pop cartons allsorts of rubbish in the disabled trolley Steve went out of his way to clean the trolley and even went out to help me get my shopping in the car and get the wheelchair in this lovely gentleman deserves a treat if asda managers read this please could you surprise him with something he absolutely deserves it it's not quite often you find a true gentleman thank you so much Steve god bless you ?”

“Very busy but probably because lots of banks in other towns have shut down now! One lady took my details and we’d literally just sat down before we got called over, the lady was very efficient and friendly and sorted out all the things I needed easily and quickly very appreciated as not always the case in other branches or online services, great thanks.”

“A good bank that has every service you could need. Although this bank doesn't have a counter it makes up for it with all the machines that it has. You can pay in cash and cheques as well as coins, and of course withdraw your money too. There are phones for telephone banking as well as terminals for getting full statement print outs, also internet terminals for internet banking. The staff are very keen to help you if you experience any problems with the machines and are polite and friendly. This branch is open Monday to Friday and all day Saturday as well.”

“On a recent visit to Asda, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter such a natural and thoughtful staff. Nothing seemed to be too small to care about. For the first time, I noticed the Space Here service operated by one of the customer care staff. He holds a notice on a pole to indicate that there is a space at a particular check-out. This can be helpful when the store is crowded and there are so many check-outs in operation. The evening I visited, his notice was appropriately re-worded to fit in with the season of Haloween thus it said Sweep Here. Although the wording seemed somewhat strange, it was good to see creativity in a supermarket. Having read some of the history of Walmart, who operate Asda now, I am encouraged to see a similar philosphy of customer care coming through. Global Nomad”

“I'm not a Barclay's customer, but was once when I was 17. I remember many years ago, I got charged for using every cheque I used!//so I switched to Santander (used to be Abbey building society). Much prefer this than a bank.”
