Thank goodness - a proper pub rather than a pub restaurant It’s got a proper grown up landlord who actually talks and cares about customers Sunday dinner was ten out of ten and good value. Absolutely wonderful discovery, a bit like discovering hidden treasure- thoroughly recommend

Great food - pub grub: they put a meal on the plate, not a picture! Musicians there tonight were brilliant - Tipsy Swing. That's their name not their demeanour!

Midweek supper. Warm, personal welcome from Landlord to this quintessential country, cosy, friendly local pub. A couple of pints and a couple of steaks: superbly cooked and tender, with chips, mushrooms, rings, tomatoes and peas - just how it should be done. Amongst the hills, Churches & rural beauty of the small village of West Chinnock sits this interesting and quirky pub, an Inn that encourages a sense of HUMOUR but takes Real Ales and Whisky very seriously but also dose food. The Muddled Man Inn is not A Gastro pub or just a drinking pub, there can also be found traditional pub grub on offer, prepared using locally farmed produce.

When the Weather is at its worst then the large Ham stone hearth at the end of the bar, and its small but friendly bar area, has a warm and welcoming feel all year round. You will find a warm & friendly welcome here but please remember to bring your sense of humour with you.
