Good food, great coffee and hot chocolate, really excellent service, by one lady who appeared to be on her own, front counter, on Boxing day.

I always eat in this cafe after shopping. The food is cooked on the premises and is good value for money, much better in my opinion than Waitrose or Morrisons. The menu changes with the seasons. I highly recommend it.

Why can I have beans instead of salad but not mashed potato? The cafe is pleasant enough but very slow service, things get forgotten and drinks and main food never seem hot together. The portion of fish pie was like a child’s!
