Went in for lunch and was offered the special roast. We went for the roast, a small beef and a large chicken. We were served a lackluster plate of very bland vegetables, my cauliflower cheese although buttery was actually mostly stork. Felt cheated. Honestly it was really terrible, thought I would treat myself to a midweek roast even though it seemed over priced at 10.95 for small 12.95 for large. I was not impressed by the staff,I was listening to staff members talking about customers who just finished his tea and sandwich,when that customer ask a question about something local and was told they didn’t which was ok ,but after the man left They started moaning about why he thought it was a good idea asking them!...

We are a family run café whose goal is to provide delicious freshly made food which can be enjoyed in our cafe or ‘on-the-go’. We specialise in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options to allow people from all walks of life to dine with us comfortably.
We are Sally and Lucy (mother and daughter) and our beloved diner is named after my granny Peggy.
We wanted somewhere that could please the local community, the bellies of the public and bring a moment of happiness to all that dine with us just like my Nan did for our family.
