This pub feels very unloved. We visited in the evening and it was practically empty. We were greeted with the stench of the toilets as we entered, and then a stale smoke mixed with a smell of oil or grease. My husband's glass was dirty, only noticed half way into the pint. Pop in to the poppe inn. Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. Owners are very welcoming. All staff very friendly

We visited the Poppe Inn for a family dinner, and it was a lovely pub with delicious food! We had the lamb shank and the gravy was delicious. Lovely people running the pub, we will be back for dinner again. Thank you
