The checkout operator asked to look inside of my empty bags. It was humiliating as there were many people standing behind me, and the operator wasn’t particularly polite. I’m sure this ‘bag searching policy’ is going to be very unpopular, and I’m not going to shop here again.

Aldi represents value shopping but on the down side, did not stock a basic commodity item such as malt vinegar and the bread/bakery section is poor choice and quality. A little annoying to have our empty bags searched ! I commented that this did not happen at Tesco !!

This is a great place to shop for bargain foods, with a huge selection. The only problem is, there is never enough tills open during the busy times.
