Visited here on a Sunday with a friend asked for a table for a roast was told yeah we got tables but we’ve ran out of food. Bit odd as they had just opened and lots of people were sat eating a roast also seen food being brought out to tables. A lovely pub with a brilliant Landlords and a good chef. All the staff give customers a warm welcome and are friendly and informative. They have a traditional small menu but the steak pie and lasagne were plentiful and tasty.
Situated in the rural village of Wookey near Wells in Somerset, The Pheasant Inn is a traditional country pub with stunning views of the Mendip Hills.
A family and dog-friendly 'local' pub offering good homecooked food (locally sourced where possible) which caters for vegetarians, vegans and those with gluten intolerances, alongside a traditional menu with a range of food from steaks to ploughmans. Two real ale hand pulls, a great selection of lagers and an extensive range of ciders from local brewers Thatchers, along with a well-stocked Gin bar ensures there is something for everyone at The Pheasant Inn.
We boast a spacious separate dining area, a cosy bar with wood burning stove as well as a large fully enclosed garden.
