Lovely little pub off the beaten track, but we'll used. Warm welcome, delicious food, well worth a visit! Good selection of real ales

We came to the Valiant Soldier Inn on a Friday evening where all the tables were taken and/or reserved. The super friendly manager still found us a small table where we could eat very well and even had a very friendly young waiter who spoke French. The meal was very generous and good.
