This was the nearest hotel that we could get for an overnight stay following a day at the Quarry for 'Let's Rock'. It's a 10 minute taxi ride into the town costing, well we gave taxi drivers a tenner each way, cost less than a bus ride for the 4 of us. We stayed at Battlefield Travelodge for one night when we attended the Let’s Rock festival in Shrewsbury. Lovely Travelodge , very clean and the manager was very friendly and helpful. It’s around a 10 min taxi ride in to Shrewsbury for around £9. Pub attached to the travelodge is very nice with breakfast around £9....

We stayed at this hotel for two nights last year and again this year for the Let’s Rock Festival in Shrewsbury. The hotel manager ‘Chris’ was very efficient, friendly and delivered excellent customer services, nothing was too much trouble ????
