Ha. Heard it’s shut. Booked here for Christmas a couple of years ago. No free tables when we arrived as all customers staying on for more drinks post curry. No atmosphere just a lot of drunks. Food was tasty but the chicken dhansak I ordered was slightly disappointing due to the chicken pieces being sliced thinly, instead of cubes, as you'd expect from an Indian restaurant. Had an amazing Lamb Balti. Great time there with excellent service. Highly recommended.
Shifnal Balti officially opened on 22nd January 1995. Our choice of Shifnal was an important one. Our focus was to provide an excellent Indian dining experience to a small market town. 20 years on and we believe we have achieved this. Shifnal Balti is deeply embedded in to the Shifnal community.
