Booked a room and was informed that a code would be emailed to us to access keys as pub was temporarily closed. Arrived at 5.30pm no email had been received. Phoned, emailed, contacted via face book for ages, no response. Found somewhere else to stay 3 hours later. Eventually (next day) informed that a telephone number... read full comment

Popped in for a quick pint and a meal after football with colleagues.Pints were great tasting and fresh, you could tell they cleaned the pipes regularly and made an effort to serve a good pint which is refreshing nowadays.Food was okay.
