The hotel immediately gets a couple of stars for really stellar view and location, which is just wonderful AND another two stars for surprisingly terrific food and drink.Being in an isolated part of Scotland, we expected basically good food, but nothing like the amazing meals we had. Small hotel with bar and restaurant. Booking is advised because there is limited seating, and on our evidence can get quite busy, and for good reason.Food and the real ales were both outstanding. We ate from the bar menu, however the full restaurant menu looked fabulous.My desert was probably the best I've ever had.
