Visited to relive old memories. My aunt and uncle used to run this pub many, many years ago. Just popped in for a quick drink at a quiet time of day. Prices reasonable - £4.10 for a pint of Tennent's lager. Didn't ask about food so cannot comment on this. Barmaid was very polite and welcoming. It was nice to look at the... read full comment

People and saff seemed friendly enough. The pub was rocking at the time because there was a band on, but I think it still gets busy anyway. I would call again if I was in the area.
