The hotel is very well located 1 minute walk from Morar train station. The place is quiet and the view from the restaurant is magnificent. By taking a taxi, a train or a bus (quite rare, however, for the last 2) you can get to Mallaig in less than 10 minutes to take the Ferry. The hotel itself lacks a bit of spit-and-polish. The main reception, bar, and restaurant are all good, and there is a nice new decking area to the back of the hotel that has fantastic views.The room we had was OK. We had a lovely stay in an ocean view room. The new owners have worked very hard to increase the quality of this hotel. Room was large. Staff helpful. Plenty of parking. Great location in leaving or heading for Skye. Recommended.
