Although the fish was lovely and fresh, the batter was really quite tough ... and the chips were very, very tough indeed.

I’ve visited here before it’s by far the best chippy in town or Ayrshire food is amazing chips perfect hidden behind a pub this place faces out towards Millport next to the ferry definitely best in town and we’ll worth a visit

While visiting the Viking Festival my wife decided she would like some chips as a snack, we went to the Fish Works on the Esplanade and we’re not disappointed,prompt friendly service and the chips were done to perfection, the best we have tasted in a long time we will definitely be back and try a fish supper the next... read full comment
