My mother was at the Kilmarnock store buying books partly with a gift card. The till didn't register the gift card or the half price offer of one of the books and the manager was having her lunch break. I'm old enough to remember when this used to be John Menzies. Popped in to use the Post Office back in the summer, staff were polite and professional.
