Peter is a lovely chap and made us very welcome. The guest house is very well situated and beautifully appointed. I had a philosophical discussion with Peter about not including haggis in his ‘full Scottish’ breakfast but we left as friends. Would go again and bring my own haggis.

We stayed here for two night and I must say Peter is the most personable owner I have ever met. He really gave us a feel for the local atmosphere.. We didn't want to leave. The rooms were very comfortable and he even made us a special breakfast. Daisy the cat deserves a shout out too.......

We had to roam around town as we were delayed on the train and then to the B&B to meet with the owner to check in at a specific time. Had we known there was seating out back, we would’ve sat there for three hours instead of roaming around a hot city, tired from travel, with all our luggage!
