Pretty poor quality and selection of food and coffee. Disappointed with our visit - it used to be good!

Gretna green is an awesome place. We saw a couple who had just married & the bride was in her beautiful white gown & the groom was wearing a traditional scottish kilt. Been to gretna green before & it was just as nice as before. We got loads of scottish shortbread in different varieties & some souvenier scottish teddy bears for gifts. Was a nice stop over on our way back home & a very memorable holiday

Terrible!! The soup is clearly from a packet. The food is like bad school dinners and £4 for a cheese sandwich!!! Really expensive and awful food. Only semi-edible thing is the chicken goujons, everything else is truly appalling

Went there on 21/10/23, because of it's history. Made a purchase at the food hall was served by Sheila D, thank god for names on receipts. No greeting, no eye contact and money placed on counter and not in my hand, as I placed my money directly into her hand. Need to improve your customer service Sheila.

A kind of place i would steer away from, being a tourist curiosity with inflated prices.Although i did not buy anything it was sunny and peaceful being out of season in January, sat in the courtyard as others taking in the winter sun. Interesting history.

So disappointed in our experiance, it seems to be money making machines all round. Most of what was on offer can be found in supermarkets, we brought 2 'Scottish Cakes' , awful, ....

We stopped off for lunch on the way down to England. I really like Gretna Green - the shops and surroundings have a unique, classy vibe - but the foodhall was massively disappointing. The staff were friendly enough but seemed overrun. The place generally lacked organisation, the decor is fading, while the food and coffee were mediocre at best. Sadly I don't think we'll eat here again. The standards need to be elevated to the rest of the place. By all means wander around and check out the shops, but find somewhere else to eat.

Had the most perfect wedding day. The venue is beautiful and the staff were friendly and so helpful. They made sure my music was just right and positioned mt dress perfectly for photos! Couldn't be happier!

Good place to stop at on the way down the road. A lot of decent gifts, not like the cheap tacky ones from the backstreet gift shops. First class choice of single malts, cashmere jackets and delicious shortbread. Worth the visit.
