“A great local convenience store with friendly, helpful staff. The long opening hours(6am to 10pm) mean that you can pop in whenever suits. Having a post office locally is a super service that very few communities can boast. Although it isn't a full Morrisons supermarket, it has a large range of products and some good offers for what is after all our own corner shop.”

“Asda has a large car part which is kept clean. I enjoy shopping here as the store is clean and tidy also the the staff are very helpful. A good selection of produce and good quality. Very good selections of wines spirits and beers. Freezers are full. There is a cafe and toilets. The clothes section is good and kept tidy. We'll done Asda Glenrothes”

“Regular stop to fill up the works flatbed lorry the forecourt is spacious enough for manoeuvring in and out of.Staff are usually polite and shop always seems clean.Only niggle is that the fuel prices are always slightly higher than the Shell garage at the town centre.”

“Had my wedding at the laurel bank hotel on Saturday 16th September. A twilight wedding. Everything was spot on. Married upstairs the down to the hall for the reception. A great venue and the food was very good. Lee Murray the manager was brilliant with the planning. On the day he was great. He plays our music for the ceremony. The staff Al helpful and cheery. The skinny and decor was supplied by big Stevie’s entertainment. Again very good. I would recommend the whole thing to anyone wanting to get married.”
